If you are looking for a
ICF Certified ADHD Life Coach
who works exclusively with
teens & adults...
Together, we’ll figure out what’s really getting in your way, not just on the surface but underneath it all. From there, we’ll build simple, practical steps that actually feel right for you.
We personalise everything.
Together, we create tools and strategies on the spot during your session — so you're not left with a to-do list as long as your arm.
You’ll leave with clarity, not overwhelm. We use our time to unpack what’s really going on, explore what works for your brain, and build a realistic next step that feels clear, manageable, and doable.
Research shows that the most effective support for ADHD often includes two key components: medication and coaching. While medication can play an important role in balancing brain chemistry, it doesn’t teach you how to manage time, handle overwhelm, or break free from negative self-talk.
What if this time, the road actually felt like it
belonged to you?
What if you discovered that you were more than capable — you just didn’t know how yet?
You’ve spent years trying to fit into a neurotypical world...
Putting in 50 times more effort just to do the thing,
Only to feel exhausted from barely getting by — Winging it, and hoping things will somehow get better.
What Can You Expect From Coaching?
Together, we’ll identify your strengths, build habits that stick, and create a plan that feels possible — not overwhelming.
If anxiety, overthinking, or low confidence are getting in the way, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
Through coaching, you’ll learn practical, evidence-based tools to manage worry, feel calmer, and trust yourself more.
You’ll discover strategies that work with your ADHD brain, not against it, so you can build the confidence and emotional regulation you’ve been looking for.
1. Understand How Your Brain Works (and Why That Matters)
You’ll finally make sense of why certain things feel harder — and where your strengths shine. Once you understand how your ADHD brain works, everything from school to work to relationships starts to feel more doable (and less personal).
2. Find Strategies That Actually Fit You
Forget generic advice. We’ll figure out what works for your life, your pace, and your brain. Whether it's focus, planning, emotional regulation, or just getting started — I’ll help you build tools you can actually use.
3. Build Confidence and Self-Compassion
This is big. You’ll learn how to be kinder to yourself, notice your progress, and stop measuring your worth by comparing yourself with others. You’ll start showing up as the real you — with more clarity, more calm, and more belief in what’s possible.
This is What Life Can Look Like when ADHD Stops Holding the Wheel
Whether you're 14 or 44 - coaching helps you take back control, build confidence, and finally enjoy the ride.
I’m Trudy — an ICF-accredited ADHD Life Coach, certified through the International ADHD Coach Training Center (iACT). I bring over 25 years of experience as a teacher, and I also live with ADHD myself — so I understand the challenges (and the strengths!) from both personal and professional perspectives.
I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t worked with an ADHD coach who truly got it — because she had ADHD too. That experience changed everything. For the first time, I felt seen, supported, and equipped with tools that actually worked for my brain.
After years of being a passionate teacher, a new career came calling.
I knew I had the compassion, the passion, and the teaching experience to not only be a coach — but to educate and support people in a way that truly works for ADHD brains. That’s what led me to create Thriving Minds Coaching — a space where teens, adults, and parents can feel empowered, understood, and supported as they build a life that feels more calm, capable, and true to who they are.
When I was first diagnosed with ADHD, my psychiatrist handed me a script for medication — and told me to find an ADHD coach.
I’d never even heard of ADHD coaching before. But it turns out, that suggestion changed everything.
Coaching gave me what medication couldn’t: real-world tools, structure that worked for my brain, and a space to finally understand myself without shame. Now, I do the same for others.
Whether you’re a teen, a parent, or an adult trying to make sense of it all, coaching offers something powerful — not just strategies, but insight, support, and a way forward that actually fits.
Sometimes it feels like no matter how hard you try, you're just spinning your wheels. And no one gets out of the snow by pushing harder in the same direction.
That’s where the right support — and a little expertise — makes all the difference.
Not just helpful. Often, essential.
You don’t have to figure this out alone. I’m here when you’re ready — because you don’t need to stay feeling stuck, scattered, or just plain worn out.
Coaching can be a place to breathe again. With the right tools — and a bit of humour — life can start to feel more doable, and even a little lighter.
We can work together to make things feel less chaotic and more clear. You can book a free chat to find out if coaching is right for youself or your teen.
