If you are looking for a ICF Certified

ADHD Life Coach

who works exclusively with teens & adults...

Hi there — I’m Trudy Parkin, a certified ADHD Life Coach

I’m so glad you’re here!

I specialise in ADHD Coaching for Teens, Adults, and Parents

ADHD can make life feel overwhelming — but with the right tools and support, you can thrive. I coach teens, parents, and adults to build confidence, calm, and clarity.

This kind of self-awareness builds real-life change: better focus, fewer blow-ups, stronger relationships, and more ease in your day. My coaching is grounded in curiosity and compassion, and it’s designed to feel empowering — not overwhelming.

What is ADHD Coaching?

An ADHD Life Coach helps you understand how your brain works and supports you to build the skills, confidence, and strategies to manage everyday challenges. Whether it’s focus, time management, motivation, or emotional regulation, coaching gives you tools that actually work for the ADHD brain — and a judgment-free space to try them.

How Coaching Feels with Me

  • Together, we’ll figure out what’s really getting in your way, not just on the surface but underneath it all. From there, we’ll build simple, practical steps that actually feel right for you.

  • We personalise everything.
Together, we create tools and strategies
on the spot during your session — so you're not left with a to-do list as long as your arm.

  • You’ll leave with clarity, not overwhelm. We use our time to unpack what’s really going on, explore what works for your brain, and build a realistic next step that feels clear, manageable, and doable.

  • MOST IMPORTANTLY - Build Confidence and Self-Compassion

This is big. You’ll learn how to be kinder to yourself, notice your progress, and stop measuring your worth by comparing yourself with others. You’ll start showing up as the real you — with more clarity, more calm, and more belief in what’s possible.

What Does Research Say About ADHD Coaching?

Research shows that the most effective support for ADHD often includes two key components: medication and coaching. While medication can play an important role in balancing brain chemistry, it doesn’t teach you how to manage time, handle overwhelm, or break free from negative self-talk.

What if progress didn’t mean pushing harder — but finally working with your brain instead of against it?

Your tired of winging it - masking it...

...Hoping no one notices how hard having ADHD actually is.

But all you needed to uncover is - you’ve just never had tools that match how you think, feel, and learn.

What Can You Expect From ADHD Life Coaching?

You’ll begin to understand how your brain works — why certain things feel harder (or easier), and what to do about it — with support every step of the way.

You’ll feel held in a safe space, free from judgment.

You won’t be rushed. You’ll have time to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what’s really going on — at your own pace. You can take off your mask and finally be yourself.

All sessions are one-on-one, held on Zoom, and run for 45 minutes.

I’ll also share helpful resources along the way — like e-books I’ve made, easy-to-use templates, checklists, and more!

  • Through coaching, you’ll learn practical, evidence-based tools to manage worry, feel calmer, and trust yourself more.

One-on-One ADHD Life Coaching is Perfect For...

Life with More Freedom...

You Get to Move Beyond Daily ADHD Struggles

It Gets Easier From Here.

So Much Easier!

  • Hi there, I’m Trudy — an ICF-accredited ADHD Life Coach, certified through the International ADHD Coach Training Center (iACT). I bring over 25 years of experience as a teacher, and I also live with ADHD myself — so I understand the challenges (and the strengths!) from both personal and professional perspectives.

  • I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t worked with an ADHD coach who truly got it — because she had ADHD too. That experience changed everything. For the first time, I felt seen, supported, and equipped with tools that actually worked for my brain.

  • After years of being a passionate teacher, a new career came calling.
I knew I had the compassion, the passion, and the teaching experience to not only be a coach — but to
educate and support people in a way that truly works for ADHD brains. That’s what led me to create Thriving Minds Coaching — a space where teens, adults, and parents can feel empowered, understood, and supported as they build a life that feels more calm, capable, and true to who they are.

“I Personally Had No Idea ADHD Coaching Even Existed — Until It Changed My Life”

When I was first diagnosed with ADHD, my psychiatrist handed me a script for medication — and told me to find an ADHD coach.

I’d never even heard of ADHD coaching before. But it turns out, that suggestion changed everything.

Coaching gave me what medication couldn’t: real-world tools, structure that worked for my brain, and a space to finally understand myself without shame. Now, I do the same for others.

Whether you’re a teen, a parent, or an adult trying to make sense of it all, coaching offers something powerful — not just strategies, but insight, support, and a way forward that actually fits.

My advice to you, my lovely is... "Please Don’t Let Yourself or Your Teen Stay Stuck!"

Sometimes it feels like no matter how hard you try, you're just spinning your wheels. And no one gets out of the snow by pushing harder in the same direction.

That’s where the right support — and a little expertise — makes all the difference.

Not just helpful. Often, essential.

You don’t have to figure this out alone. I’m here when you’re ready — because you don’t need to stay feeling stuck, scattered, or just plain worn out.

Coaching can be a place to breathe again. With the right tools — and a bit of humour — life can start to feel more doable, and even a little lighter.
